The Women’s Ministry of Grace Nepali Church recently held two spiritually enriching events — the Saturday Women’s Fellowship on October 25, 2025, and the Annual Sisters’ Seminar on October 27, 2025, both of which brought together sisters from the church for a time of worship, teaching, and joyful fellowship.
The Saturday Women’s Fellowship of Grace Nepali Church was held on October 25, 2025, at the warm and welcoming home of Leader Renuka Rai and Sister Bhumika Karki Rai at 55 Blue Jacket Drive, Christchurch. The atmosphere was filled with heartfelt prayer, worship, and unity as the sisters gathered together in God’s presence.
The program was joyfully led by Srija Thapa, who guided the event smoothly and kept everyone engaged with her cheerful spirit. The time of worship and soaking, led by Surakshya Acharya, ushered everyone into a deep sense of spiritual connection, as the participants surrendered their hearts before the Lord in songs of praise and reflection.
Following the worship, Bhumika Karki Rai shared an inspiring message from the Word of God, encouraging the sisters to strengthen their faith and remain steadfast in prayer. The event also included a special fasting prayer session, where many women who had been fasting joined together in heartfelt intercession for their families, the church, and the wider community. Leader Renuka Rai led this prayer time with great sincerity, giving thanks to God for His faithfulness and blessings.
The gathering also included a time of joy and laughter through Bible-based games, thoughtfully organized by Srija Thapa. These fun activities helped to strengthen fellowship among the sisters and created lasting memories of joy and unity. The program concluded with a closing prayer led by Januka Prasain Ghimire, leaving everyone spiritually refreshed, encouraged, and thankful for the time spent together in God’s presence.
On Monday, October 27, 2025, Grace Nepali Church hosted its annual Sister’s Seminar 2025 at the church premises in Bryndwr, Christchurch. The full-day seminar centered on the powerful biblical theme, “God Created Men and Women,” focusing on understanding God’s design and purpose for both men and women in His creation. The aim of the seminar was to help women embrace their God-given identity and calling within their families, the church, and society.
The day began with warm greetings and fellowship as the participants arrived, setting a cheerful and welcoming tone for what would become a day of learning and spiritual growth. The event opened with a devotional message by Bhumika Karki Rai, who reminded everyone that each person is wonderfully created in God’s image and called to serve Him faithfully.
The atmosphere soon filled with songs of praise during the worship session, led by Srija Thapa, Prerana, and Surakshya, as everyone joined together in unity and thanksgiving. The seminar then moved into several teaching sessions, led by Renuka Rai and Chandrakala Sapkota, who spoke on important topics such as Christian Women in the Home, Society, and Church. Their teachings emphasized faith, godly character, and the importance of serving others with humility and love.
In addition to the teaching sessions, Alina Koirala facilitated engaging group discussions, allowing the sisters to share their personal insights and reflect on the biblical lessons they had learned throughout the day. These times of sharing helped deepen understanding and created an encouraging environment of openness and support.
Throughout the seminar, the Grace Men’s Team played an essential role in providing warm hospitality. They prepared and served delicious meals for lunch and dinner, ensuring that everyone was cared for and comfortable. Their willingness to serve brought great encouragement and displayed the beauty of teamwork within the church family.
The seminar concluded with a closing prayer of thanksgiving led by Renuka Rai, as everyone joined in gratitude for God’s presence and guidance throughout the day. The evening ended with a joyful fellowship dinner, where laughter, gratitude, and unity filled the room. It was a day that left every participant encouraged, refreshed, and reminded of their divine purpose in God’s plan.
Both the Saturday Women’s Fellowship and Sisters’ Seminar 2025 became remarkable moments of spiritual renewal for all who attended. The atmosphere throughout both events was filled with God’s presence, joy, and sisterly love.
Through heartfelt worship, deep reflection on God’s Word, and honest conversations, many women testified that they felt spiritually strengthened and encouraged to live out their faith more boldly. The teachings reminded everyone that God has created both men and women with equal worth and a shared calling to glorify Him and serve faithfully in their families, churches, and communities.
The fellowship times over meals, coffee, and games allowed the sisters to build deeper relationships with one another. Laughter, prayer, and stories of personal experiences made the gatherings not only spiritually enriching but also emotionally refreshing. It was a beautiful reminder that the Church is a family where everyone is valued, loved, and united in Christ.
The women expressed gratitude to the hosts, facilitators, speakers, worship team, and the Grace Men’s Team who selflessly served with excellence. These two days reflected the beauty of unity in the body of Christ, where every member contributed with joy and humility, making the events truly blessed and memorable.
Both gatherings closed with heartfelt prayers of thanksgiving, leaving everyone inspired to continue growing in faith, serving with love, and walking together in unity for the glory of God.
